Cancellations 

Birdsightings-Perú reserves the right to cancel a trip under the following circumstances:

• Non-payment: If the client fails to make the full payment for their trip 60 days prior to the arrival date. In this case, the initial deposit will not be refunded.

• External causes: Events beyond our control that prevent the execution of the trip (strikes, protests, flight cancellations, weather conditions, overbooking by hotels or airlines). In such cases, we will propose possible solutions to operate the offered program, but any additional expenses resulting from these circumstances will not be covered by Birdsightings-Perú.

If you decide to cancel your trip, you must notify us in writing. Please note that the initial deposit paid at the time of confirmation is non-refundable. The cancellation notice must include the reason for the cancellation.

In the event of cancellations within 60 days prior to the start of the trip, the following penalties will apply:

• More than 60 days prior: Loss of the initial deposit.

• Between 60 and 31 days prior: 50% of the total trip cost.

• Between 30 and 16 days prior: 75% of the total trip cost.

• 15 days or fewer prior to arrival: 100% of the total trip cost, provided suppliers allow it.
