Nossa recente expedi\u00e7\u00e3o de observa\u00e7\u00e3o de aves de 16 dias em outubro de 2025, com um grupo de turistas do Reino Unido, foi simplesmente extraordin\u00e1ria.
Da rica vida marinha da costa peruana \u00e0 vibrante floresta amaz\u00f4nica e aos majestosos Andes, esta jornada capturou a ess\u00eancia da incr\u00edvel diversidade do Peru \u2014 suas paisagens, fauna e cultura.<\/p>

A aventura come\u00e7ou em Lima, explorando as ilhas de Callao, onde testemunhamos milhares de aves marinhas, incluindo andorinhas-do-inca, atob\u00e1s peruanos, pinguins-de-humboldt e brincalh\u00f5es le\u00f5es-marinhos. De l\u00e1, viajamos para o interior da Reserva Nacional Tambopata, lar das gigantes lontras-do-rio, hoatzins e os espetaculares lama\u00e7ais de araras, onde centenas de papagaios e araras se re\u00fanem diariamente em um deslumbrante espet\u00e1culo de cores e sons.<\/p>

Nas florestas de nuvens de Manu, encontramos o deslumbrante galo-de-rocha-andino, tangaras, beija-flores e macacos-de-pele-de-l\u00e3 \u2014 uma experi\u00eancia inesquec\u00edvel em um dos lugares mais biodiversos da Terra. Nossa jornada continuou pelo Vale Sagrado dos Incas, pelas maravilhas arqueol\u00f3gicas de Pisac e Sacsayhuam\u00e1n, e culminou na impressionante cidadela de Machu Picchu, uma das Sete Maravilhas do Mundo Moderno.<\/p>

Ao longo do tour, o grupo registrou quase 400 esp\u00e9cies de aves, guiados pela experi\u00eancia dos naturalistas locais do BirdSightings Peru e pela calorosa hospitalidade dos lodges parceiros. Foi uma viagem repleta de descobertas, conex\u00f5es e encantamento \u2014 uma verdadeira celebra\u00e7\u00e3o dos tr\u00eas mundos naturais do Peru: Costa, Andes e Amaz\u00f4nia.<\/p>

By Jos\u00e9 Antonio Padilla Reyes Our recent 16-day birding expedition in October 2025 with a group of tourists from the UK was nothing short of extraordinary.From the rich marine life of the Peruvian coast to the vibrant Amazon rainforest and the majestic Andean highlands, this journey captured the essence of Peru\u2019s incredible diversity\u2014its landscapes, wildlife, and culture. The adventure began in Lima, exploring the islands off Callao where we witnessed thousands of seabirds including Inca Terns, Peruvian Boobies, Humboldt Penguins, and playful sea lions. From there, we traveled deep into the Tambopata National Reserve, home to Giant River Otters, Hoatzins, and the spectacular macaw clay licks, where hundreds of parrots and macaws gather daily in a breathtaking display of sound and color. In the cloud forests of Manu, we encountered the dazzling Andean Cock-of-the-Rock, tanagers, hummingbirds, and woolly monkeys\u2014an unforgettable experience in one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Our journey continued through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the archaeological wonders of Pisac and Sacsayhuaman, and culminated in the awe-inspiring citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Throughout the tour, the group recorded nearly 400 species of birds, guided by the expertise of BirdSightings Peru\u2019s local naturalists and the warm hospitality of our partner lodges. It was a journey filled with discovery, connection, and wonder\u2014a true celebration of Peru\u2019s three natural worlds: Coast, Andes, and Amazon.
