José Antonio Padilla Reyes

Jose Antonio Padilla Reyes is a seasoned naturalist and expert birding guide with over two decades of experience across South America. Born in Lima, Peru, he began his career in ecotourism at the age of 21 in the Tambopata National Reserve, in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. Since then, he has led birding and wildlife photography tours throughout Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, and Ecuador. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, Jose Antonio combines deep regional knowledge with a passion for avian biodiversity. His career includes guiding in world-renowned birding hotspots such as Manu National Park, the Pantanal wetlands, and Cristalino Lodge in Brazil. He has worked with international companies such as Naturetrek Wildlife Holidays (UK), Partnership International Birding, and Birdsightings-Peru. Today, he lives in Cusco, Peru, with his family and continues to lead immersive, conservation-oriented birding and photography expeditions across the Neotropics.

Ernesto Lenin Padilla Reyes

Tourism Business Consultant & Process Improvement Specialist

A Peruvian industrial engineer from the prestigious Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), Ernesto Padilla specializes in the development of tourism businesses through personalized consulting, training, and the implementation of continuous improvement strategies—with a strong focus on Integrated Management Systems.

With a deep understanding of organizational dynamics and the specific needs of the tourism sector, he works closely with our director, José Antonio Padilla, to strengthen key areas such as marketing, product development, operations, finance, sustainability, human resources, and customer service. His mission is to enhance efficiency and deliver measurable value across the entire experiential and adventure tourism value chain.

Known for his analytical mindset and results-oriented approach, Ernesto Padilla helps ensure that every aspect of the business is aligned with both market demands and sustainability goals. He plays a strategic role in designing solutions that improve customer satisfaction, strengthen operational processes, and promote long-term growth.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the tourism industry, Sheyla Cosio brings unmatched expertise, professionalism, and passion to every aspect of travel planning and operations. Sheyla is in charge of logistics and ground operations in Cusco, expertly coordinating everything from airport transfers and hotel arrangements to complex multi-day itineraries. Her deep local knowledge and strong network of providers make her an invaluable asset for both individual travelers and large tour groups.

Her ability to solve challenges efficiently and proactively means travelers are always in good hands. Whether it’s last-minute changes or special requests, Sheyla handles each situation with calm, care, and professionalism.
She is also a specialist in organizing tours to Machu Picchu, crafting custom routes and schedules that highlight not just the iconic citadel but also the surrounding Sacred Valley, Andean villages, and off-the-beaten-path treasures.
